Stipe avoided the eye pokes and went to the body. Enjoy

Stipe loses a few pounds fish in the cage and in a decision to make the new one day season nba team is still in pretty much the way they're in a while back in the ufc draft game at home and was a beast

DC has always had a weakness to body strikes (Anderson and Jones both used body kicks to exploit)
DC almost always has his hands in his high mummy guard clearly exposing his body

Pretty stupid Stipe didn't have this in his initial game plan in both fights

Does it reference Anderoid by any chance?

Wouldn't really call it masterful. It took him 4 rounds to do what Jones showed everyone to do from the start. He fought like a moron for 3 rounds

Boxing the body of a shorter opponent is difficult and dangerous.

If you'd call it masterful then you really underrate the fight IQ. It was a logical move... DC dominated first 3 rounds, you ain't knocking him out with punches because he sees everything coming. As the fight progressed it was logical to go to the body when he was starting to fade, if he did it in the beginning DC would just wrestle since he was getting better of Stipe in the stand up.

Stipe goes to plan B if plan A aint working, champ quality.
Shane Del Rosario lit him up in the first with kicks, but in the second he took him down and beat him up.
RIP Shane.

Mir also middle kicked him a few times and it was obvious he didn't like it.
Always was prone to body strikes and high knee from the clinch/high kicks...
What's more worrying is that he didn't have any answer for these ( how to counter body shots ).
I don't think a rubber match gets well for him unless he can finish Stipe early or patch that weakness, because this is kind of the blue print to beat him now (to work the body)

I think you need medical attention

I remember DC talking about his predictable head movement that enabled Jones to set up the high kick that sent him reeling in their second fight, and casually mentioning something like 'that isn't going to change now' before moving on to his next point. Of course, the by now instinctual head tic is a far harder thing to alter than a strategy. But DC's hand-high mummy guard is so key to his way of dealing with his usual reach disadvantage, I doubt he can unweave his way of fighting enough to defend his body more. Or that he'd want to even if he could...after all this is a guy working beyond when he was sure he'd be retired.
