So some clown named Rupert Murdoch tried to buy Time Warner, which owns HBO.

Time Warner said lol no, so he tried to go for a hostile takeover by buying stocks out.

So Time Warner has to take money out of HBO to stabilize the stock prices of their other properties to prevent the hostile takeover.

Will showtime become the home for boxing ?

FYI just rumors among friends but hearing there is going to be a big push for boxing on HBO towards end of year

Do you know anything about Rupert Murdoch and how wealthy and powerful he is or are you just ignorant?

I'd a toss a half a crown and a fistful of farthings for the beast me'self.

Who gives a shit what he is. Hes a fucking clown and is ruining boxing on HBO

Rupert Murdoch never attempted a hostile takeover of Time Warner. He made an offer of $85 per share(about 80 billion dollars) which was rejected, and the shares ended 2015 just under $65 per share He did not start purchasing Time Warner stock. Here is a list of Time Warner's 10 largest shareholders

Also here is a report from the time of the offer which states directly that Murdoch/Fox have no desire to go hostile.
