It really humanizes Steve Jobs and shows you how he works with others and respects long term loyalty between him and his engineers. Not a fan of consultants and people who are only brought in for a short time to work on a problem apparently.

Fucking Marxist.

J/k. But that is almost a direct parallel to some of Karl Marx’s stuff, which I don’t necessarily disagree with. I’ve never worked as a consultant, so I don’t know. Good analogy though.

I find it hard to care about anything Apple.

I just roll my eyes when people say shit like they can't change their phones because they're already ingrained too far into Apple's "ecosystem".

I agree I am not a fan of his ether but what he achieved cannot be understated.

It's been a dozen years since Apple's resurgence, and I still don't understand.

Or I guess I do. They make technology products for simpletons, who are very happy to keep forking over money because they've been hooked in to the Apple cult.

Otherwise (and having just bought an iPad within the last month for work purposes, though I refunded it), there's nothing particularly extraordinary about Apple products.

Reminds me of Michael Bay movies.

They just have better QA than Microsoft and Google when it comes to their OS and patches. And that is probably because they don’t allow just any third party developers to publish software for it, so they can better control how that software is affected by their patches.

I have worked with MS stuff for years. I did support for 10 years. I don’t want to have to do that shit at home too. So I just buy Apple products. That way, I don’t have to troubleshoot all the fucking time, and my wife doesn’t have to ask me how to do every little thing.

One of my TVs has an Android OS. That shit is garbage. It is so unstable that I can barely every get anything to work once patches roll out to it.

Bill gates>Steve jobs
Bill actually has empathy and is a humanitarian.
