Being competive would insinuate he would win some fights against top 10 competition.
He just doesn't win those fights.

This is nothing short of insanity. Nick was dominated on the feet by Silva. Nick was afraid to fight, landed nothing of substance, and made sure he kept his distance for most of the fight.

He showed real cowardice in that fight.


He was also outstruck by GSP on the feet. Condit as well.

Even old, out of shape BJ boxed him up in the first round before he gassed out.

you mean the same fight Anderson literally ran away and Nick lay down inviting him to grapple? Also the fight Anderson was roided to the gills?

This is why I hate coming into the Heavies forum. It is full of stupidities. Back to the stand up and grappling forums with me.

Losing to GSP and Anderson (on steroids) must mean he sucks right? He destroyed BJ and many thought he beat Condit. He sure as hell didnt 'lose' to Condit, at best was out strategized in a fairly boring affair.

No one 'destroys' Nick Diaz. They at best out point him.

He was dominated by AS and GSP. He lost 4/5 rounds to Condit. He was outstruck in each of those fights. He is not a great striker, nor is he a great grappler.

He was outstruck by BJ and lost the first round to him. Frankie, who can fight at 135, was much more dominant in his fight with BJ. Beating up BJ at that stage of his career didn't mean much.

If Nick wasn't a well known dope smoker none of his fans would care about him at all.

Thompson looked superb out there, excellent win.

Diaz makes perfect sense, as does Condit.
