News Stephen Thompson vs. Gabriel Bonfim set for UFC Nashville 7/12

Idk if tickets were already on sale but if they were this seems like maybe they weren't selling well.

This should Easily be the main event over Lewis/New guy

Thompson has lost 4 of his last 5, not a big deal if he gets a main event or not.

Lewis doesn't need to be in a 5 round fight no but it will be exciting while it lasts and he will promote the event well. I view a fight like that more as epilogue than a main event anyways, should end the night with a bang lol.

Sounds like you easily hit your head

Finally Thompson out of rankings.
Prime wonderboy was something special, but I agree. UFC like to keep guys who haven't won fights in years in the top 10 forever. What it does is stall out divisions. Wonderboy has already fought so many names it's about time to give newer fighters a chance.

wonderboy still looking at least competitive, speed still hanging around, but that fight is going to come when suddenly it's gone and it's going to get ugly when it does.

What happened to the only fun striking fights, Bonfim is going to grapple like his life depends on it
Well.. Wonderoldman is 1-4 in his last 5... he can't be picky.

I'm surprised he is still going at 42 taking up and comers.

Why would you wanna see WB get humped for 3-5 rounds?
I just took a look at Gabriel's record, the guy has a shit load of submissions. A 76% sub rate to be exact. He's going to be grapple fucking WB and will most likely get the sub. At least with Colby there's no real threat of a finish and he's also old.
