Stephen A Smith deserves praise for standing his ground and exposing Rogan’s shilling.

Casual. Conor is only coming off one loss against the GOAT, Khabib. The Mayweather boxing match does not count. He picked Cowboy because it was an easy match for him. Who is the last guy Cowboy "finished". Alexander Hernandez, Mike Perry? Mike is ranked #20 and Alex too. Conor is overrated but not that overrated. Just LOL, If you ever thought this was a competitive fight. KO by a toe kick, LMAO. You have never been in a fight if you think that works.
you don't really get this, its too obvious what you are trying. you are not skilled in the trolling arts.

Honestly mma fans are an embarrassment in how they critique the character of fighters in the cage. And that’s what Stephen A did here too. He, like most fans, are not equipped to make such evaluations.

You can say someone got dominated, or fought a bad fight. But too often people question character of these guys.

SAS is a breath of fresh air in the world of UFC shilling commentators and analysts. He saw through the shilling narrative that Rogan was telling, and instead chose to tell it exactly how it really was.

hilarious how people are claiming his opinion isn’t genuine because his bread and butter is covering basketball. As if that’s relevant to disagreeing with a crappy narrative Rogan was pushing to hype Conor.

hespect to Stephen A Smith for further exposing rogan’s shilling and triggering biased mma fanboys. Hopefully he continues to get airtime for UFC events.

I wonder how is your boy @20falarVerdades gonna react to his man-crush Joe Rogan getting called out for being a shill.

But Stephen A. Smith has a despicable hairline

They’re upset because he’s right, he’s not gonna shill for UFC like Rogan and co do and those guys will hate him for it, he is not a UFC employee and has no interest in being one, get used to it

Stephen A Smith is one of the worst NBA analyst out there,
And that's the main sport he cover.

the UFC?!?!
forget it.
He not the worst, just the loudest. Also covers the NFL.

He deserves the praise because he's doing his job correctly. He keeps his eyes open and he tells the truth as he sees it.

So you don't get that this is a manifactured way of getting people to talk about things?

You honestly don't get it that there's no beef between Rogan and Smith and they're working towards the same goal?

<seedat>

I just listened to the start of Rogan's podcast with Josh Thompson, and they honestly sounded pathetically triggered that someone dared to enter their bubble with a harsh critique.

Thing is, as the ufc gets more and more mainstream attention, they're just gonna have to accept that people are gonna have an opinion who aren't toeing the company line .

So Smith who doesn't know shit about MMA exposes hogaine for his shilling?

Man, we live in dank times.

Also this quote makes me side with smith:

"Conor McGregor did not get the opportunity to show us he did enough for us to believe that Nurmagomedov or Masvidal, that’s something that could potentially happen. I didn’t see it, because Cowboy Cerrone’s first PPV match folded. I respect him but he folded like a cheap tent, period! Bad night for him, that’s all"

Mcg beating Cowboy is not enough to say he's prepared to beat khabib or Jorge.

Dude has no clue on the sport. He doesn't know the name of the sport. No it's not ufc fighting.

And for having the guts to make rogan cry.

Ugh...completely disagree. He is more clown than analyst, and his career largely rests on his blustery shtick that heavily leans on his 'personality' instead of sound or insightful analysis.

IMHO, he not only adds nothing to a UFC broadcast, he detracts from it...but he gets the numbers. Look at all the coverage of his 'analysis', Rogan and Conor responding, etc. That he is ESPN's highest paid guy is an indictment of ESPN's core audience lol

Smith was the only one on the broadcast who pointed out that we didn't really learn anything about Conor from this fight. That he didn't show he had anything for Khabib. Consider that.

I don't care how much more knowledgeable the other analysts are, what does it say about them that they immediately started kissing Conor's ass and hyping up his next fight? They are hypemen, while Smith is at least speaking his mind.
