Stefan Struve faces Tai Tuivasa at UFC 254
Stefan Struve will take on the Australian Tai Tuivasa on October 24, during UFC 254, the organization reports via Social Media. “The Skyscraper” returns to the octagon after almost a year.
This marks the second fight in Struve’s new six-fight deal, which he signed in 2019. He lost the first fight of that deal via a TKO from Ben Rothwell, after Rothwell hit him twice in the crotch. Struve chose, on the recommendation of the referee, to continue, which ultimately cost him too much.
Tai Tuivasi finally hopes to win again. By winning his first three fights, “Bam Bam” had a rock-solid start to his UFC career. He managed to win two of these via a finish, one of which ended in an unanimous decision. But since then, his career, within the octagon, has come to a head. He lost his last three fights and his last win dates back to 2018. Now he can make his appearance in the octagon again after more than a year. Tuivasa saw his fight with Jarjis Danho canceled in June.
