Steam Summer Sale just started today and a shit ton of games are on sale. I'm considering getting Dying Light: Enhanced Edition which is 50% off on sale for 29.99

Does anyone have any experience with this game? Is it worth my 30 bucks at this point?

Haven't been really impressed with the sales honestly. Nothing has caught my eye other than maybe Rocket League for $13.

They put hundreds if not thousands of games on sale. I've always enjoyed Steams summer and winter sales. I keep a large "wishlist" going of 30 to 40 titles though and right now at least 80% of those games are on sale.

Grabbed Tales from the Borderlands.

Nothing else really jumps out as huge savings that I don't already have. I might get Phantom Pain.

I do want Fallout 4 on PC eventually but I don't feel compelled to jump on that price.

One of my favorite games from the floppy era was Master of Orion.

Now they are making a new version. Currently early access but on Steam Summer sale -30% for 34.99

I bought master of orion 2 almost immediately when I found out it was available from GOG. Still as fun as ever TBH and will always be one of my favorites.

If you can imagine Far Cry 3 with Zombies but more focus on melee and parkour and that thought appeals to you then get it. It's good shit.

Also, thanks for the heads up about the sale.

I bought some but I will still most likely continue to exclusively play my games that are 10+ years old (CSS and DOD:S).

13,000 games for sale though - its tough to look through everything, but there are a lot of good deals. Nabbed a few survival type games but still just trying to sift though everything for sale. Once I start drinking tonight i'll probably end up buying a few more. Currently I have Underrail (isometric game kinda like the old Fallout games), Gauntlet, Verdun, and a few others in my cart just begging me to finish transaction. We'll see how it goes.

Picked up the Streets of Rage trilogy for like $3.00. Got dem medical bills this year so I'm poor as fuck. No XCOM2 of MGS5 or Doom or Rise of the Tomb Raider for me

Grabbed Tales from the Borderlands.

Nice purchase brah. I didn't think I'd like it since I hate Borderlands, but it ended up being probably my favourite Telltale game

I haven't played the enhanced edition, but the vanilla game was fun. Perhaps a little tedious at first with your weapons breaking after a few hits but stick with the levelling up and get a handle on the parkour and it's a fun environment

Yep, I bought it. My first thought was this is Farcry with zombies. I'm digging it.

LOL its like when you were a kid and its a big game of "the floor is lava so you gotta stay on the couch and chairs" I like it but then again I'm a fan of Farcry and its very similar in a lot of ways.

Yea I've seen quite a few games in the 1-10 dollar range that are a damn good value. Some of their games are 80 or even 90% off so you can get something for 5 bucks that is pretty awesome if you dig around and find it. I also keep my steam que monitored and my wishlist fairly big so when all that stuff goes on sale I can just check the wishlist.

Not really too interested in many games. Browsing around and I might get these. Problem is that I'm pretty sure I would not actually play many/any of these too much because Overwatch consumes most of my gaming time:

One Piece Pirate Warriors 3 (I don't watch/read that show but I have a soft spot for KOEI Warriors games lulzzz)
Pillars of Eternity
Wolfenstein: New World Order
Skyrim (one day I will finally buy this)

Have played Pillars of eternity, Wolfenstein the New Order, and Skyrim. All 3 are good to very good depending on which one you are talking about. Also just finished the pre-quel to Wolfenstein the New Order called Wolfenstein the Old Blood.

I have lots of games from the last sale that I haven't played. I'm still going to pick up SOMA at 1/2 price cause I've been waiting to play that. And then they have Talos Principle for like 80% off, the DLC is only a couple of bucks. That's the only puzzle game I've really liked in a long time, I want to play it through again with the DLC and do all the bonus stuff.

Also, I feel a little dumb now for buying Dark Souls 3 at full price. It's already like 25% off in this sale.

Anyone have recommendations for single/multiplayer controller based games?
