What do you think about riding a stationary bike for fat loss, i just did an hour , moderate pace and i feel great, distance was 27 km ?

If you generally burn more calories than you consume, you will lose fat. Using a stationary bike will help you burn more calories, although there's no particular benefit of it over other kinds of cardio equipment, in that regard.

However, you have to make sure that your diet is on point. Burning more calories can make fat loss easier, because you'll be able to eat a bit more while still keeping a caloric deficit, but it won't do anything for fat loss if you're eating too much. Also, make sure to include some lifting, to minimize muscle loss with weight loss.

I'd say that from a purely body composition stand point, cardiovascular exercise is less important than lifting and diet.

That is what i am mostly worried about, muscle loss, so if i continue to lift i will lose mostly fat ?

If you continue to lift, following a good program, and you eat a good diet with a modest deficit (Eg. enough protein, a deficit around 500 cal/day), you will lose mostly fat.

I'd do sprints on that bike and call it good after 30 minutes rather than staring at a wall or watching a tv on a gym wall for an hour.

Keep your protein high (use an online calculator to calculate how much protein per gram you should be consuming) and you won't lose too much muscle.

Lost 50lbs in 3 months doing an hour on a recumbent bike after weight training while intermittent fasting.

I like to do low to low-moderate biking on a stationary for about 20-40 minutes a day. As long as I keep the intensity low enough, I find it's a great way to get in some reading which helps knock out other life goals as well (professional, school, hobby, etc). But as others have said, diet is the main culprit in fat loss.

I use it for warmups

I was looking for the Airdyne bike that way you will burn even more calories and great for cardio

You burn more calories by working harder. It doesn't matter what the modality is.

Doesnt matter how you choose to burn the calories if you are burning the calories.

Stationary bike was the only cardio I did in a process of losing 60 pounds.

I've always wanted to try one and after looking around online for a price I don't think I ever will lol
