Has anyone heard of San Shou? The throws in San Shous from clinch range , I feel, are alittle more dynamic than Judo throws.

Is San Shou not like kickboxing with throws added in?

I could be mistaken, but I glimpsed at a San Shou match at the last tournament I competed in.

I was in the middle of passing somebody's guard, so I didn't have much time to watch...

it's kickboxing with throws, tips and sweeps added in.

i like to watch it vs normal non k-1 events. cung lee has that SWEET scissors takedown.

I always enjoy standing up great practice for takedowns, during classes we start on our knees probably because of lack of space. My school does teach alot of takedowns, open mat days guys come and start on ze feet.
