UPDATE ON PAGE 5.

I was diagnosed with metastatic colon cancer several weeks back, had my first round of chemo this morning. Things went very well, no side effects yet, plus the cancer symptoms have already begun to lighten up a bit.

Anybody have any chemo stories to share, either yourself or a close individual?

I was literally just bitching and sighing about how ridiculous my day was today. Hahaha, i'm so petty.

Stay well, TS, keep us updated on your fight dude

None that would make you feel better but it was lung cancer i am sure your cancer is more survivable. You say its metastasized so stage 4 where did it start? Good luck man.

my thoughts are with you ts, keep your head up man

Well, my mom had breast cancer but shes been in remission for 15 years.

My dog got lymphoma the year before last. I got him chemo but it wasn't helping so they gave him a rescue med n it put him into remission. I know it doesn't compare but we were very close. I loved him.

good luck bro! hoping that sweet beautiful universal healthcare helps you out down this road!

Sucks that anyone has to experience that. Glad to hear it went well and that the symptoms are subsiding some.

Good luck. How old are you?

My dad was diagnosed with non-metastatic colon cancer in March. They took out his entire large intestine, so now he has a hole with a bag on the side of his abdomen until next month when they can reroute the small intestine to his anus after everything has healed.

I'm only 28. It's in my genetics, this is just way, WAY earlier than anticipated.

Dr is confident that this chemo will work. In 3 months time we do another CT scan, then continue treatment if working or switch it up.

Started in the sigmoid colon. This cancer is quite treatable and survival rates decent, but each case is unique, so no guarantees unfortunately.

Had an uncle who had chemo (for bone cancer) and didn't live long after completing the treatment. I think it depends on the type of the cancer, some cancers are a crapshoot with chemo.

A friend of mine is currently faced with the same issue. I will ask the universe to help you, my friend. I do not know if prayers are ever heard, or answered, but I'll try anyway. Good luck.

Hope that all goes well for you. Hang in there and other good things.

good luck on the fight and your eventual triumph.

don't start selling meth anytime soon.

Sorry to hear that TS. Good luck with your treatment, stay strong.
