There is just something about the fact that Mcgregor asked Herb Dean to stand him and Mendes up. Something about it that screams how helpless and desperate Mcgregor must have felt on his back, thinking he was about to lose.
Desperate enough to actually ask the ref to stand them up. So many people are ignoring that. It is almost a forfeit..."get this guy off of me, I can't fight like this, laying on the ground" mentality.
Sorry, but its hard for me to be a fan of somebody that asks for divine intervention when they are losing.
Am I alone here?
What other fights come to mind where a fighter is losing, desperate, and asks the ref for intervention somehow?

Playing with Mendes' head, that's what:s up.

Trolltricks etc.

The butthurt that will be felt by generations

Sounds like you've got a balsamic finger up your ass

Some guys don't like to get humped. They would rather stand and fight. If you have enough time and energy to talk to the ref than you are not really I that much trouble. You are most likely bored of being humped. He was pretty active off his back too.

Reaching there TS

lol McGregor in the 1st round - "Oh man, there's 4 rounds left, I'm going to lose".

Whatever makes you feel better about the fact that Conor won the fight, bud.

let him bang, bro.

i'm a big Mendes fan. Had him winning that matchup.

He lost.

Cleanly.

Screw the trolls.

I didn't like that at all. It sounded whiny and went against all the stupid BS of being able to obliterate his opponents and get up on his own. I was rooting for him, glad he won, and he even stood up after that, but that was a really shitty moment. Not even mind games, just seemed desperate.

Not a fan of that, but you do what you gotta do. Aldo grabbed the fence, GSP/Silva lathered some grease on themselves, Jones has eye poked A LOT of people, etc. I'm a huge fan of Silva, Aldo, and Conor, but it's just a part of the game.

Did that really happen? Didn't notice during the fight.
Don't like that at all.

horrible thread

was weird how herb dean was telling mendes to work tho when he clearly was

McGinger was getting a butwhooping until Mendes gassed.. Props to him for getting the win, but it was obvious he has a lot of glaring weaknesses.

I think full camp Mendes beats McGregor.

And I think Aldo beats him as well.
