The MMA scene has changed a lot here in the last couple years. Does anyone know of any legit gyms to train at here?

Obviously HIT Squad but that's pricey. Jermaine Andre has zero verifiable credentials on his site, Finney's seems like it might be pricey, and a good portion of others seem to have "eh" trainers. But maybe I am wrong.

^I actually spoke to Tim Connors at the House of Hard Knocks, and he seems really cool, I also trained at the St. Louis Training Circle, nice gym to learn basics at, when I went it was $50 for three classes a week(which I would've preferred more), but as far as competition, Dwayne would send guys to Vaghi's Martial Arts, so that they could get on track with competing.

I don't know much about North Broadway Jiu Jitsu, though the credentials of the instructors look good, so but its $75 for one martial arts class :X, and I think there's a contract(don't quote me on that one).

Finney's has their fighter development system, which seems really decent, I emailed one of the guys to find out about them, it was great for the first email, though they didn't respond to any subsequent ones. >.>

Price isn't so much the issue as training quality. HIT Squad is a little far for me but if the quality was at a local gym I wouldn't be too upset about the price (even though $75 is a bit much for one class). I guess it seems like Finney's and Vaghi's are the most legit places around.

Do you guys know anything about Patriot Self Defense or JW Wrights Grappling Concepts? Also, thank you for the replies and the info.
