As there was a decent discussion about spirulina supplements, I decided to look for a good one. I mean, Odwalla Superfood is good, but it's expensive....
So I went to the local Trader Joe's and picked up the green supplement, it's got the spirulina and chlorella, amongst other things. After hearing reports that it tastes too green, I decided to put a tbsp into.... Muscle Milk.
So one scoop of muscle milk (instead of the 2 recommended scoops at once, I split them, one pre and post workout, usually later in the day), and 1 tablespoon of the green powder into 10oz milk.
I'm not sure if any of you have eaten green tea ice cream before, but that's pretty close to what this concoction tastes like.
Anyone else wanna give it a try? :wink:
