Sparring in Thai Gloves?

I currently own some of the Fairtex BGV9s and use them for bag and pad work. Are there any of the thai style training gloves soft enough for sparring? Or is it necessary to get a sparring specific glove? And then if so which do you recommend?

Get some BGV1s they're perfect for sparring save your 9s for pad and bag work.

I spar with twins 16's and havnt had any complaints, and they run a little cheaper than the Fairtex

Thai gloves will work fine, just don't use them for bag/pad work because the foam compresses and makes the gloves hard (to your opponent). I use Windy thai gloves for sparring and I've never had a complaint.
