i haven't drank any sort of milk since i found out i was lactose intolerant like practically everyone :icon_sad:....i recently tried soy milk and loved it but have heard the whole estrogen-bitch tits argument.
Question is, how true is all this about soy protein, and would i be better off with fat free/lactase free milk?

Try taking lactase enzyme pills. They are much cheaper than lactose-free milk, and you won't have to worry about people calling you a pussy for drinking soy milk.

Also, fat-free milk still has lactose in it...

yeah you can take lactaid pills and eat any kinda dairy stuff you want... also theres milk with lactase in it already which digests the lactose for you, so you don't have to worry about taking the pills.

Try raw milk, this is tolerable to the lactose intolerant in many cases, from what I've read.

    Soy is GMO slag.

if you can find non-GMO soy milk it's absolutely alright. you'd have to drink veeeeeery much of it to actually get into trouble with the phytoestrogene in it. just stay away from isolated soy protein or buy the stuff without estrogene..

Is drinking some kind of milk a necessity for your diet/nutrition goals or are you just drinking it for the flavor?

Not necessarily true. Many people I know with a lactose intolerance can take the pills and it helps, but does not completely eliminate their stomach issues. Some it does, some not. The user just needs to do some testing with the pills to see how sensitive they are.

That is exactly how I am...but in that case though it is no longer LACTOSE intolerance, but probably a dairy allergy.
