"he 2013 field is one of the best in the Scuffle’s history, including seven top-25 squads in the 23-team tournament: No. 1 Penn State, No. 2 Oklahoma State, No. 3 Minnesota, No. 6 Missouri, No. 8 Cornell, No. 11 Virginia Tech and No. 20 Virginia.

Other teams competing include Air Force, American, Appalachian State, Arizona State, Army, Campbell, Cleveland State, Duke, Navy, NC State, North Carolina, Northern Colorado, Ohio, South Dakota State, The Citadel and UTC."

Should be some excellent matches. Top 3 teams are competing, 6 of the top 12 overall.
Wish the tournament wasn't on 1/1 & 1/2 though. Tourney used to be a few days earlier but since moving from UNC-Greensboro to UT-Chattanooga last year the tournament has started on New Year's Day.

125: 3 top 10 guys: Megaludis- Penn St, Thorn-Minnesota, Soto- Ut-Chat. (Mizzou & UVA have top 10 125lbers but they aren't entered. Don't know why).

165: 3 of the top 5 guys: Dake-Cornell, Taylor-Penn St, Caldwell-Okie St

184: 3 of the top 5 guys and 4 of top 10 overall. Ruth-Penn St, Bosak-cornell, Steinhaus-Minnesota, Larson-Missouri

197: 3 top 11 guys.

Hwt: 3 of the top 4: Nelson-Minnesota, Bradley-Missouri, Gelogaev-Okie St. And two former all-american: Johnson, Ohio U and Cooper, Arizona St.

I'm sure I missed some ranked guys and former all-americans that aren't currently ranked top 10.

Looks like some teams scheduled to show up didn't make it, at least not with a full roster.

I haven't been able to watch it but it looks like Dake and Taylor are raping the field.

Dake has 3 pins and a major.

Taylor has a tech, 2 pins and a major of 10-0 over Caldwell.

Talk about a statement.

PSU is doing awesome even without the Altons. Volrsth the backup at 157 is in the finals and English the backup at 149 is going for 3rd.

Been some really good matches so far and the flo stream has been really solid.

Jed Moore has been looking really good all year and I think he wins his finals match. I'm guessing having Jordan Leen in the room as a work out partner doesnt hurt.

Dake/Taylor 2 tonight! I will never pick against Dake but like i've said before it's nearly impossible to imagine either guy loosing to the same person 3 times in one season.

Heavyweight had two great semis with Gwiaz/nelson and Z/Bradley. Really looking forward to the championship match and 3/4 match. 285 is going to be awesome in March.

1st: Caldwell got in deep on a single early and they ended up out of bounds. Taylor took him down shortly after the restart and scored 2 sets of 2 with that crab tilt he likes so much. 6-0 Taylor
2nd: taylor takes down and Caldwell rides for about 1:30, Taylor escapes. 7-0 Taylor
3rd: Caldwell takes neutral and Taylor gets a late takedown. Ends with just over a minute of riding time. 10-0

Despite the score Taylor didn't look as wide open as he had the previous matches. Certainly aggressive but he wasn't rolling around and getting into scrambles for fun.

He rode him but never really got close to a turn. It's hard to say with a straight face seeing as the score was 10-0 but Caldwell didn't look that bad. He was in deep on a shot, came close to escaping in the first but got stopped for a potentially dangerous, rode for 1:30 and stayed neutral in the third for about 1:30.

Still 10-0 though.
