Not a good sign for the mid-terms, for the GOP. Combined with Leon backed Justice, losing in Wisconsin Supreme Court race, and the recent Iowa special election.
 
I have read that far left Democrats have been doing well in elections of late. I've seen mention that it appears less due to belief in the elected person's far left politics, and more to do with conservatives not getting out and voting. I wouldn't be surprised if that was true. Hope conservative voters get more energized soon.

Kamala Harris won the district by only about five points in the November election, and Joe Biden won the district by 15 points in 2020.

Not to dash the narrative, but that's been a democrat seat since that district was created. Usually the democrat runs unopposed - the last time the GOP ran a candidate he only got 40% of the vote.

And 3600 voters in the election.
