Sous Vide

I understand the concept, but as some others have pointed out, the process of cooking and the nuances it requires to turn out a good meal is important, meat in a plastic bag just doesn’t sound appealing or appetizing..
That being said I resisted the air fryer for years, now it’s my go to kitchen appliance...so maybe..

Believe me, sous vide is absolutely legit.

Highly recommend it

Got my first batch of steaks in the water.

I ended up getting the Breville Joule, a FoodSaver V4840, and some accessories.

Haven’t read the thread yet, but trying sous vide soon. Looking forward to it.

lol I had to double check the date on the OP. Mofucka is splaining sous vide in 2020? Reminds me of my uncle telling me how amazing compact discs are in like 2005.

Seared in a skillet. It definitely was a little more evenly cooked, and it seems impossible to screw up and overcook, so I guess it's good.

Skillet works great. Smokes up the house a little though from my experience. It is pretty damn hard to screw up when you can dial in a temp to the degree.

Try a pork tenderloin and cut it into medallions.
