Sounds like Jones has already mentally broken Cormier

Funny thing is that Cormier works this stuff up in his own head. He starts it. Like the drama yesterday. He went on Ariel's show, while he knew Jon would be on after him, and invited OSP to train with him and then even said he'd pay his travel. What the hell is Jon supposed to say to that, of course he's gonna have a comment on it. Then Cormier goes off on a tangent, like a drunk 17yr old girl that just got cheated on.

Imagine Jon was intentionally going after him like Conor does to opponents?!?

Lol you guys are looking way too deeply into this, most of this is selling the fight. Sure there is mutual hate, but for DC and Jones, its doubtful that the trash talk is going to affect them mentally.

Man I hate both guy tbh
Jones is a shitty human being
But Cormier sound like a total douche/cry baby...

the big difference, is this is an emotional rollercoaster for DC, but its just another day at work for Jon.

In his own mind DC is trying to be CM Punk, dropping pipe bombs. In reality he's CM Punk throwing leg kicks.

DC has already lost the mental warfare against Jones.

Even worse than he did in the first fight.

Yeah but the fans are retards

DC should ignore the Jones BS. Engaging him now is pointless especially since the fight is off. If he wants to do so if its rescheduled for promotional reasons then go ahead.

It's understandable DC is losing his cool. He's almost good enough to beat Jones...but not quite. And Jones is a horrible person who gets to enjoy the satisfaction of getting away with everything. DC wants so badly to beat the shit out of the spoiled baby, but he knows it's not going to happen. It's very frustrating.

Both guys say retarded stuff leading up to the fight. Is normal. People are turning on DC now because before hand they believed he could beat Jon, but now they realise that Jon's the better fighter.

"You think I'd just sit there and let you kill me Jon?" Before hand this was a hilarious statement made my an exasperated Cormier. If he said that now, all the shertard psychologists would be reaching and telling us how indicative it is that DC is already thinking about death or some garbage like that. I see this so often with fighters when it's not fashionable to support them anymore. You can pick and choose who's "weaker" by anything they've both said over the years, it's just a matter of digging up the right statements.

He has... cormier is shook.

No way to deny that

I have to laugh at how people think that someone who has competed at a high level for almost 20 years suddenly "mentally broke" because of trash talking.

I think Daniel really thinks he can get to Jones but he ends being the one getting gotten to every time.

What do you think when someone says that they are tired of the rollercoaster? Do you just ignore it and pretend that they didn't say it? Or do you accept that they have the ability to report on their own experience.

Saying that you are tired of the rollercoaster is not normally how dominant and experienced athletes talk about the lead up to a major event--unless something is wrong.

Exactly. THIS

I think we all witnessed Aldo mentally break against Conor. How many or Ali's opponents mentally broke before they even stepped into the ring. Don't underestimate the power of trash talking.
