the following are the official UFC rankings for the LHW divison;

1 Lyoto Machida
2 Alexander Gustafsson
3 Dan Henderson
4 Glover Teixeira
5 Antonio Rogerio Nogueira
6 Mauricio Rua
6 Rashad Evans
8 Phil Davis
9 Ryan Bader
10 Gegard Mousasi

Rampage is out. Forrest is gone for a year and the rest of the guys are way outside the top 10 leaving us with potential match ups that look something like this;

confirmed match ups;

Alexander Gustafsson
Gegard Mousasi

Phil Davis
Vinny Maghaleas

rumored ones;

Dan Henderson
Rashad Evans

Antonio Rogerio Nogueira
Mauricio Rua

Glover Teixeira
Ryan Bader

Lyoto Machida
Jon Jones / Chael Sonnen

a lot of interesting fights there. I think the division is finally picking up steam again and we could be seeing quite a few potential contenders emerging by the end of the year.

Teixeira/Bader has been confirmed for a week now, at UFC 160. The division is most definitely picking up steam with Jones having 2 useless fights in a row, it's allowed new contenders to emerge.

I've got Gus beating Mousasi, likely by decision, and Glover Teixeira by an absolute mauling over Ryan Bader. Glover is the guy I'm watching out for the most as I think he's showing great capabilities and improvements with each of his fights. Could he be the one to beat Jones? We'll see how he deals with an elite wrestler in Ryan Bader in May.

what LHW needs is TRT Chuck Liddell, his style matches up well with Jones
