Squats are not an easy lift to learn. When you start out, it's more important to learn good technique than to worry about how much weight you're moving.
I've been lifting for about a year and a half, and I still don't have my squat form anywhere near where I want it.
I'm not sure how that's supposed to be encouraging, but take it for what it's worth, lol.
