Soooooooo...these Eastern Europeans boys aren't playing. We (N and S Americans) may have messed up

Not eastern Europeans, more like just Dagestanis/Caucasians. All Dagestanis in the UFC combined have something crazy like 10 times more wins than losses in their UFC fights.

The moment the PFL brought over a couple of Dagestani fighters, they started dominating and sweeping all the other fighters. Once the UFC gets a bigger Dagestani wave, similar things will happen.
I did some math with the help of wiki and UFC record of currently Dagestani fighters is 47-17. You can add records of Bagautinov, Rashid Magomedov, Umalatov and Gashimov if you want.

Don't give a rats ass where fighters come from, tbh.

If they come to throw down in beast mode, I will support them.

This. I dont know why so many people put so much stock in where a fighters from rather than what their about.

Nationalism is stupid and only works against the working class.
That is implying some group is controlling the world which doesn't tie itself by nations but with members of their own kind like parasites. Also, you create an idealistic Nation(of many Nations) that is different in its fundamental qualities than other Nations, killing culture, distinction.

Yeah, adding other North Caucasian fighters like Amagov, Taisumov, Tumenov, etc and Dagestanis that aren't in the UFC currently the win-loss ratio looks great and that seems to be a pretty amazing for such a relatively small region.

I mean we were having a great time, having epic matches between Americans, Canadians, Brazilians, everywhere in between. Mexico was getting a little love, we had some rando Englishmen making waves, everything was peachy keen.

Bellator had to go and open up a Russian pipeline for talent and at first it was pretty slow, not paying much dividends. The most famous Russian never fought in the UFC and prefers to crush cans overseas to this day. Then we get Khabibi and there's a wave slowly cresting. The Dagestanis in particular are not fucking around. They currently have a terrifying Olympic champion.

I'm all for it, mind. I want the best in the world no matter where they're from. But I think Khabib is just the beginning. Us Americans might be watching a hostile takeover at work.

الحمد لله
The PFL has tons of Russians too. The last show there were a couple Russian vs Russian fights.

Personally, I think Russian fighters are too much overrated here. Russians/Dagestani/Chechens fights in UFC/Bellator/ONE/WSOF/PFL for years and currently all this Russians/Dagestani champions aside from Khabib are lost their titles or came to UFC like Bibulatov.
Or look at PFL - Yusupov, Idrisov, Magomedov seems like all this bright prospects and future UFC champs are on a losing streaks and out of PFL tournament, or also I remember here were threads about Agnaev (and Yusupov and probably about others who were not so long ago a bright LHW prospects from Russia) - now they are on a losing streak and noone hypes them up.

Nationalism ties the working class with their own bosses in each national space, when they have different interests. I dont know what are you talking about mate.

Yea like @Arm Barbarian said bring blood and bone to the cage and we will scream for the JBG!

Speaking as a Russian myself, I find the OP silly.

As MMA becomes more popular and established, what we've seen is the opposite of any one nation or region dominating. Rather, we've seen more excellent fighters from a greater number of countries than ever before.

In the early years, there was Brazil, the USA, and in a distant third, Japan. Then, around the 2000s, we started getting good fighters from Canada, Russia, and the UK. Nowadays, we get elite level fighters from a dizzying array of countries; Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Poland, Ireland, South Korea, Mexico, Cuba, China, Ukraine, Philippines, etc, etc.

So you want anarchism is that right? You understand that everyone does work and tries to benefit themselves based on their own abilities within a nation that ties them together culturally. Unqualified workers, specialists, business owners etc. are all systematically differentiated areas that work together, same as the nation's dedicated fields which look for corruption and make policies against abuse, you know that right? Or maybe you want a system that polices all the people so the non working, the non meritable and whatever gets their share based on some rules of equality and mutual benefit, sort of just like I said above what a nations government does? You are supposing ridiculous logically dishonest crap.

EU > rest
EU could dominate MMA.

You dont see more people from other countries because most people dont care about MMA.

MMA isnt even a top 500 sport in Germany.

MMA died in japan about 10-15 years ago. Boxing/Kickboxing/Judo >>> rest >>>>>>>> MMA.

EU > rest
EU could dominate MMA.

Except they're not. There are plenty of great fighters from an array of European countries, but they're hardly dominating when there are more great fighters than ever from countries in Asia, Africa, and South America, not to mention Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, etc. And the US and Brazil are continuing to produce more great fighters than ever themselves.

We dont give a shit about MMA.

There are better sports here that are more popular and better paid.

Europeans are far too smart.

Europeans are far too smart.

Is that why they're committing mass suicide by importing millions of hostile invaders while having pathetic birth rates that are far below replacement level, all while ruining their economies and national identities through the EU while simultaneously vilifying Russia?

Literally dying out while destroying their own heritage?

Give me a freaking break. As a European myself, the idea that Europeans are "far too smart" is even more laughable than the rest of your drivel.

You make all kind of asumptions based on pure ignorance on how the system works. Workers and owners dont even have the same interests at all. The first produce value using their labor force, while the second get rich via explotation. Nationalism and that supposed "country culture" (wich is kinda a myth) hides that, and thats why it works against working class and favors the burgeois. There are tons of studies that show how the explotation of the workforce has grown since XIX century.

We dont give a shit about MMA.

MMA isnt even a top 5-8 sport in USA.

We have Soccer, where yo ucan be a top 5 mil. player and still earn 100-200k a year.

Thats why I quit boxing and BJJ and am currently investing all my time in soccer.

MMA = niche sport

I think even american football is bigger here than mma (germany/italy etc.)

lol khabibi (pronounced like chabibi) reminds me of that russel peters bit about going to a club in a bomb shelter in lebanon.

it's funny how it turned out in the end: Japan was the home of MMA and now it's almost ded.

Boxing/Kickboxing/Judo ... almost everything bigger than MMA in japan.

Go into that.
