Silva never cut from 235, He would blow up to maybe 230, but when it came time for camp, he would start eating right, and training naturally took off a bit of weight. when he was cutting water weight he was cutting from 200-205 after he dieted down during camp.

Well firstly Anderson doesn't cut from 230 pounds. Not even close. And he never has.

Secondly, preparing for a fight at 205 is different than preparing for a fight at 185. Chael was training to water cut to 205. To be told with a month left he's going to have to cut an additional 20 pounds of water on top of that. That shit isn't good.

Because people have no idea what weight cutting is. Silva at 235 is (for him) ridiculously out of shape. He gets down to just over 200 in camp by dieting and training. Sonnen is in decent shape right now, he'd probably lose a bit more then cut 20 or so lbs of water to make 205. Losing 30 pounds in a month, when a lot of it is muscle, isn't happening.

(2) Even if he did for the sake of argument. Did he ever do it with a month's notice? Because Sonnen was preparing for a fight at 205 not 185.

Silva weighs the same as a lot of WW's on fight night. Sonnen is likely carrying a lot of fat atm - He'll need to drop around 20-25lb to make the water cut.
