I have good feeling about Pettis. There's no pressure on him, odds are against him, Dana said Tony Ferguson was next in case something happened to Conor or Khabib

Tony is coming off surgery and a layoff

Especially if Sergios Pettis comes out and has a nice showing I think it'll only pump up Anthony Pettis to do even better.

Watch him shock the world and surprise everyone.

Pettis by Submission - triangle (flame away sherbros)

I have that feeling, too. That's why it's the only fight on the card I didn't make a prediction on in the Prediction Thread last night.

Pettis looked back in form in his last fight

He seems like the type to mature and put it all back together

I hope you're wrong. Tony is that guy who just keeps winning and always fights the toughest opponents they throw at him, no fucks given. He was stripped so quickly and to add insult to injury, now isn't even getting a title shot. It would suck to see Tony derailed before getting his shot at the title.

Id love nothing more than to see pettis beat cringe.

Here to hoping.

Me too TS. I put a sneaky bet on him last night. Pettis on any given day is capable of beating any LW. I think he matches up well with El cucuy

No he didn't, why do people keep saying this?

He was getting worked by Chiesa until he landed a nice shot and got the sub on him.

Pettis, during his run, was a ninja, just like Tony. I do hope that Pettis out-ninja's him

Nobody knows if Tony is really healed. We do know for sure its ridiculously fast turnaround time for that type of injury.

If Pettis wins, it might just be because Tony should have waited 3-4 more months. That makes the odds seem off to me.

pretty much this, especially since i do not think Pettis even deserves to fight Ferguson.

a guy with a 1 fight win streak is taking on a guy on a 10 fight win streak and was the champion before he was injured?

makes no sense to me, but it's the UFC, i don't think they're trying to make sense, they're trying to make money.
