Something i noticed with jones

He never fucking punches! He uses his hands as range and to defend punches but rarely punches himself. He seems to use his hands kinda like a range finder and probe but never really lets combo's go with his punches. I enjoy him the most in the clinch because he's wild with elbows in that range but I don't really enjoy his striking. I wish he went in and pressured guys with the clinch more and with takedowns, I guarantee he would get way more finishes that way because he's a beast in that range.

Yea jones gets away with his size and grappling(size helps his grappling) but aside from the occasional flashy kick jones isnt slick at all in the stand up and is quiet boring.

It's also why he lacks finish rate in his later years (also due to opponent talent of course), but without a decent punch count, he limits his chance of KOs.
