(Sorry for long read, and another Khabib v Conor thread)
Conor took the Diaz fight on less than two weeks notice, and had just KO the p4p #1 fighter in the world, and everyone, even Conor didn't take Nate seriously, and it ended up costing Conor the fight. Nate wasn't even training for a fight, he was chillin in Cabo.

Khabib on the other hand had both Tony Ferguson, and Max Holloway pull out in the same week two very different styles, then ended up fighting Al Iaquinta on a days notice, and dominated him for five rounds.

Khabib has proved he can adapt to any style by shoving his style down his opponents throat, where Conor couldn't adapt to a certain style. Sure Conor beat Nate in the 2nd fight, but Nate definitley had his moments.

It'll be interesting to see who can impose their will first, great fight.

I'm not hating, I'm just stating facts.

Khabib is simply the superior fighter

    Pretty obvious to non-nuthuggers

That Al performance was masterful imho which is weird seeing how people are saying that Khabib got exposed. It didn't even seem Khabib was taking that serious when he decided to make it a stand up fight and jabbed Al for 5 rounds. It almost seemed like a spar for Khabib. That's how confident he seemed.

Khabib is an animal. One of the most dominant fighters I have ever seen which is why if Conor beats him it will be so special and groundbreaking.

Khabib is someone you have to train specifically for. I would imagine short notice fights would actually be an advantage to someone like Khabib.
Meaning that if these fights were just two warriors from different areas who knew nothing about each other, Khabib is one of the last guys you would ever want to find yourself up against.

The sport of MMA changes this with specific preparation and footage etc.

You mean 2 completely different fighters fought 2 completely different short notice opponents and both had completely different outcomes? Wow, you're really onto something here

Came to see something funny, leaves disappoint.

On a real though @Frankie Baby!, what weight class was the Khabib vs Al fight at again?
And how many had each fighter had in said weight class?
Also, what weight class was Khabib training for?

Lol, Khabib fans trying to credit Khabib for taking a rank 11 on 12hr notice who'd trained for a three round fight for the championship is the only funny thing to be realised.

If all you do is spam takedowns against the cage for 5 rounds of course you can do that against 90% of opponents.

    Khabib hardly 'dominated' Al either.

Conor doesn't really get credit for jumping 2 weight classes (from his previous fight) and having never fought at 170.

This fight is 50/50 i don't know how idiots in this thread can be so certain Khabib beats him.
I'm a Conor nuthugger and I'm realistic about the chances. 50%
Khabib fans seem to think Conor can't test his chin on the way in shooting for a takedown. You'll be sorely surprised if you keep that up.
If he can tag a rushing Aldo he can tag Khabib shooting from far distances which is what will have to happen given Conor's distance control. At least in the 1st round.

Nuthuggerz accusing others of been nuthuggerz - the irony.

Lest we forget Darrell Horcher and at a catch weight?

    Max Holloway doesn't count.

He just threw that suggestion out there so people would talk about him.
Everyone knew Max would never be cleared.
    Even Dana knew.

Conor would kill Al. And every other LW would’ve been KTFO if they took the shots Nate did that night.

Yes, Conor lost. Yes, he got rocked. Yes, he got strangled. But can people be real for just f’n once about this fight and admit Conor beat the fuck out of him until he started getting tired? It’s as if that didn’t even happen. He was mauling him pretty much the entire time.

We’ve seen Nate get his ass kicked before but not like that. Conor was straight up bullying him around the octagon like nobody has ever done to him before.

Nate’s usually competitive the entire time on the feet, but he looked like he was just surviving in there until Conor’s punches started coming a little slower and weaker as time went by, especially in the 2nd.

Then he got cracked by a straight he didn’t expect because he tried to counter Nate’s jab with an uppercut. It all went down from there.

Besides that, it wasn’t really competitive. Not.. at all.. really..
