So this is driving me nuts but periodically i'll be listening to my music and all of a sudden it will cut out and i notice that some mystery person is listening on their Ipod. It's ALWAYS Justin Beiber too and who ever it is keeps following J beebs playlists! It's driving me fucking insane!

Has this happened to anyone? What the hell do i do now? I already tried reseting my password aswell.

My netflix was taken over by some guy from Argentina (or maybe he appeared to be from there by using a VPN) who reactivated the account and was watching stuff using my credit card. I had to contact the staff (there's a live support chat) to fix the issue.

Also russians periodically hack into my unutilized instagram account and I have to keep changing the password. Once I found a shitload of pics of some polish dude and his family inside my account, go figure.

maybe you are logged into another device, happened to me was listening to music than my playlist stops then it becomes a baby lullaby. My acct was still logged into my old phone which was being used by my sister in law to play baby songs.

The only devices it's installed on is my phone and desktop. This is another phone and it's an ipone, mines an android.
 
May need to use a web browser, but go to your account settings. There should be button that says "sign out everywhere"

Then just manually login on your phone and computer. The random person should be disconnected, and won't be able to reconnect unless they have your info

That's the problem with entertainment as a service programs. I've sinced gone back to the low tech "mp3" style of listening to music.
 
Did you ask Spotify or are you hoping one of us happens to work there
 
Yes. I had this happen to me once. I changed my password and it fixed the problem.

Same here. Kept playing Mexican music. The whole "log off everywhere" thing didn't work so I had to change my PW.

Screwed up my playlists for quite some time.

It was like, literally, probably literally one of the worst two weeks of my life. I can't even...
 
I just signed up for a Premium Account... Does anyone know why it still says that I have a free Account when I log in to the app?

It's a joke bro, nobody cares. You'll probably have to make a new account, or just stop using Spotify.

I'm actually an artist on Spotify and there is somebody else with the same name and both of our music keeps getting linked up on the same page. When you submit a "fix" it takes 4 weeks for them to even look at the problem, after which they usually do nothing because they cant figure out wtf to do. Its a clusterfuck.
