Cause I can't really follow this whole delegate process and each states specific rules.

What does Bernie have to do to win right now?

Be victorious in all remaining primaries? Or will that still not be enough.

Can he force a contested convention somehow and if so what are his real chances of getting in then?

Serious answers for an outsider looking in please

He needs to stay in and flip the super delegates in his favor. If Hillary is indicted before the convention, then that will happen. Otherwise, he has a slim chance...almost impossible.

Another thing, wtf is super delegates?

It seemed easier to follow the republican primaries cause they only have one flavour of delegates

Super delegates?

Are they worth x amount of regular delegates and do they have powers?

They can pick whichever candidate they want to support, people don't vote on it.

Well why the fuck do they have that kind of power? I thought they were suppose to represent the people's popular choice.

So they can all want Bernie and this super delegate can go "Fuck you, I'm picking Hilary"

Why would they have that guy there and why would people vote to have this "super delegate"

Your process is so bassed ackwards

There aren't enough of them to completely go against the wishes of the populace. If an overwhelming majority of people wanted Bernie, he'd still win the primary. In the event of a close race the super delegates are there to pick the candidate they think is most likely to win in the general election.

Or it's all a conspiracy to silence sanders. Depends on the who you ask.

His chances are somewhere around zero, give or take nothing.

Hillary would have to withdraw, which wont happen. He has about the same chances as Ted Cruz.

Really? Even though Sanders hasn't suspended his campaign or shows any signs of quitting?

Why go on if it's truly pointless?

Desperation?

Not much of a mind reader, but I would guess he is trying to make a point. He is also forcing Hillary to the left.

I personally think it goes Way Beyond making a point. I thinking Bernie's mind, he thinks he can win. He thinks he can flip those superdelegates. who knows, in the back of his mind, he may be praying for an indictment or another report that's even more damning. Politicians have been known to wish ill on their competition to further their own gains. :)

Serious responces, he at least has some % it can't be 0 that would mean Hilary is immortal
It's pretty close to 0%. If Hillary dies or is somehow charged as a felon then maybe Bernie gets the nomination, but as of right now, he could win California and still lose. It's a worthless endeavor at this point, he's just splitting the dems and possibly making Hillary look weaker during the GE. Then again, Barack lost the last 5 of 6 primaries and still went on to become president.

The super delegates aren't voted for iirc. They are like an appointed class of party elite, former presidents and the like.

And the republicans do have different flavors of delegates, arguably worse. They have unbound delegates, which means they could be elected to vote for X candidate at the convention, but they can choose on their own to vote for Y candidate.

Just what we need, split votes on the dem side to give Trump yet another advantage

This is a nightmare election for me.

Why is this all so complicated you guys, for reals?

It is unnecessary.

What is so complicated?

It should be just a group of people vote in each region for who and not this delegate represents that and that delegate is unbounded, like he just took a laxative or something and super delegates and each state has totally different rules on things

It's a mess, it should be streamlined and made easier cause I'm not the only one who gets lost in the particulars .
