Garbrandt gets a ton of hype after KOing Brimage. he doesn't live up to the immediate hype and gets labelled a bust/overrated despite being young
Rockhold/Weidman FOTY with Chris edging it out
Hendricks regains the belt
Condit gets dominated by Mcdoogal but his fans still pretend he's the definitive #2 WW that will eventually win the title.
Hoidy Macdoogal gets busted
McMann rematches and beats Rousey
Gastelum becomes a contender
Mousassi loses to Hendo
Alvarez beats Bendo but despite being the heavy underdog, he'll get little credit for it from MMArtards "because" of Benson being on the downside rather than styles making fights. same with every other fight were the fav(because of name value) loses.

Machida drops to WW
Khabib fights Pettis, gets smashed on the feet but otherwise ragdolls Pettis, winning a very controversial decision and becomes LW champ
Cruz returns in late autumn and gets an immediate title shot, winning the BW belt
Askren signs with the UFC
The UFC decides to strike while the iron is hot and sets up a fight between Jones and Brawk at HW, Jones pulls out due to injury and Maldonado replaces him with two weeks' notice. First death in the Octagon occurs.
