Ronaldo de Lima (5 months older than Floyd), he was god of football in the 90s, retired in 2011
Ronaldinho (3 years younger than Floyd), he was god of football in the mid 2000s, started declining since then, was mostly irrelevant in 2010s
Kobe Bryant (1.5 years younger than Floyd), MVP and multiple champion in 2000s, his last season in 2015-16 was painful to watch, even a fighter like him admitted he could no longer hang with younger guys
So my point and question to you is, could these old guys from the pics even be considered top 1000 players at this point? Would you give some in shape, hungry 28 year old second tier player even a remote chance of competing with them? I think I would, aging is a real thing and physical prime is 23-29 once you're past it, it doesn't matter how good you were.
