Did anything similar happen during the Bush and Obama administrations? Cause I can't recall.

Reporters from the Associated Press, CNN and E&E News were barred from attending the event. The AP reported was shoved out by a security guard. The EPA later reversed coursed and allowed the AP and E&E reporter to attend.

"The Environmental Protection Agency's selective barring of news organizations, including the AP, from covering today's meeting is alarming and a direct threat to the public's right to know about what is happening inside their government," said AP Executive Editor Sally Buzbee.

"It is particularly distressing that any journalist trying to cover an event in the public interest would be forcibly removed," Buzbee added.

Ofcourse the EPA spokesman has an excuse, that there was no space. As if 3 additional reporters take up a lot of space. But other media in the room said there was space.

EPA head Scott Pruitt has faced criticism for:
Pruitt has faced criticism in recent weeks over emails showing the EPA sought to intervene in a critical study on the contaminants.

Obama tried to exclude Fox News once and it was a giant fucking shitshow from right wing orgs with the mainstream media standing behind them.

Under the Trump administration, where blocking media is par for the course, there's apparently no issues. The media is just whining about it or some shit.

We held the black guy to a different standard.

So only CNN was barred?

{<jordan}

I don't know why they should go. They've shown that they're predictably going to take whatever they are covering and twist it around to shit on it, so instead they can read and watch like everybody else. Maybe they can run a few more Russia segments or have the porn lawyer on again.

If you read the OP, it says that Associated Pres and the E&E News reporters were also barred. The articles focus on the AP reporters since she was grabbed by the shoulder and shoved away.

CNN still way better than Fox News.

Facts do not matter to this guy... Clearly.

CNN >>>>>> Fox News

Nice to see you support a facist regime Mr. Patriot (now go google facism)

How does Swamp Monster Pruitt, still have a job. All he is done is live like a rapper on tax payers dime.
He probably banned the press so they did not see the energy lobby making dollar bills rain on him, while he was shaking his ass on stage.
