Did anything similar happen during the Bush and Obama administrations? Cause I can't recall.
Reporters from the Associated Press, CNN and E&E News were barred from attending the event. The AP reported was shoved out by a security guard. The EPA later reversed coursed and allowed the AP and E&E reporter to attend.
"The Environmental Protection Agency's selective barring of news organizations, including the AP, from covering today's meeting is alarming and a direct threat to the public's right to know about what is happening inside their government," said AP Executive Editor Sally Buzbee.
"It is particularly distressing that any journalist trying to cover an event in the public interest would be forcibly removed," Buzbee added.

Ofcourse the EPA spokesman has an excuse, that there was no space. As if 3 additional reporters take up a lot of space. But other media in the room said there was space.
