Some highlights of my last fight

    unfortunately I got stuck in the corners a lot more than I would like in this fight. Had some brain farts here and there lol

    Hi, Paradigm! I have only 17 fights by now... My plan for this year was to fight at least 10 times, but I got my rib hurt in this fight and maybe broken (still won...) I had three so far, all of them in 63 days, maybe it is my body telling me to slow down a bit, which sucks hehe I'm 27 and not getting any younger

    Oh, lol. Well at least the highlights showcased the best

    10 fights in a year quota?
    Guess pros are really a different breed.

    The most I did was 4, and I felt I needed a break after that. Wasn't really 4 fights either, 3 exhibitions, and 1 fight.

    Actually amateurs have more fights then professionals usually, typical active amateur boxer fights 10-20 fights per season. some less and some more if there is many tournaments

    I've heard about this, and wonder about it actually. So thats 40-80 a year? Seems like a bit much. 10 events in a season is almost a fight each week. Injuries also push things back as well. Unless season has another meaning, I'm thinking 3 months.

    For me, after every fight, even though I check a decent amount of kicks, my leg is shot, and I'm pretty much out. These days my body is more used to it, so about 1-1.5 weeks. when I first started out, it was about 2-3 weeks. That's just from leg kicks alone. My first sanctioned ammy, I got bruised ribs and that took a bit over month to heal, so couldn't really do anything real. Sparring, sweep/dump drills, clinching (knee hit elsewhere, but felt it on the ribs also) were put off, even doing BJJ and being in closed guard put pressure on the ribs, and I had to bail on that as well.
    The only thing I could do was padwork, bagwork, shadowbox, no-knees clinching.

    In fact I never had that busy of a schedule. Too many breaks because of minor and major injuries and some other stuff... I just planned that this year I would go on a mission jaja didnt work that well! First I had a bizarre skin rash from a pre-workout who almost gave me an anaphylactic shock! It was back and forth to the hospital and hydrocortisone through my vein, so I had to pull out from two fights, and now its my rib. But I'll be back! Maybe I can do three more until end of year
