- The southern French city of Marsellie had rolled out a smartphone app that allows female beachgoers to report people harassing them, pestering them etc...

- The app gives women 3 options to report harassement / unwanted attention:
I’m being bothered
I’m being harassed
I’m in danger

- The app was created by charities and was tested in Marseille's Prado beach and at a music festival. It's success has led to it now being offered at 4 other French beaches.

- A YouGov poll found that 39% of women expereinced harassement at the beach

- When a woman reports a guy harassing her or giving unwanted attention 2 mediators are dispatched. In case of a more serious nature police will deal with the issue.

I think it's fine in America. Some cultures overseas aren't too good at the beach. The harassment is done by a group of males.

That paris-containing place's affirmative answer always reminds of a trip to be urenayting

Sure you do fine pertektin yourself from the babes that aren't rich 10's - considered unworthy.

Must be the foreigners getting harassed then .

French women are normally hairy and smell of garlic and onions.

Are there no lifeguards walking the beach?

This app is going to become widespread. It's going to come here. I wonder if there is a need for it in gyms because at the gym a woman can just approach an employee.
