proponents of the free market suggest that social issues would be handled by charity which comes off as responsibility im not sure is proper in that type of economy/society

It's neither proper or sustainable for charities to do so. It's like needing intestinal surgery and asking your local religious order to foot the bill. They can't save everyone. Besides, the main objective of the free market is to earn more than the competition. So, that's where the focus lies. Not on charity.

free market does not exist, anyone who states otherwise does not know what the fuck they are talking about. These free market proponents haven't really thought things through, nor have the actually experienced a free market to see how damaging that can be. It is all text book pie in the sky crap.

The best workable economic systems are mixed, little bit of capitalism, little bit of socialism which are in place across the world.

can you even imagine how deplorable corporations would be without regulations or government oversight..

Look at them now, just imagine with no checks and balances...

BBBBuuutt the free market will handle it..

Almost as deplorable as the unregulated government that oversees them

Which social issues exactly?

No, the free market probably isn't going to pay for birth control and abortions.

The government has the force of law, and the corporations have the government in their pocket. Corporations actually have MORE power in our current system. This is why you certainly don't see the Pharmaceutical companies or the Oil companies making billion dollar contributions to Libertarian super-pacs.

Just imagine the financial sector with fewer regulations than they already have...

It would be equal to robbing people at gun point.

Charities often degenerate and have certain agendas that do more harm than good.

So you think trade didn't exist until government institutions were formed?

I think that your reading comprehension if pretty poor if that is what you got from my post. Show me a free market, where is this magical free market? Which nations currently operate under the principals of a free market?

If your answer is none which if you have a shred of intellectual honesty it will be, then where does the free market exist? In another dimension?

Best example would probably be Hong Kong.

Yeah, nothing like a corrupt governement investigating a corrupt business. Also, many of these corrupt companies that get away with these actions is because they're in bed with the corrupt government. People think that government is this invisible force of good but in reality its a bunch of people with power that can be bought.

In my opinion, especially with todays social media, it wouldn't be hard to have real free market. Then when companies are out of line people will blog, message and inform others about it. Info will spread like wildfire and that company gets a bad rep and people stop buying their product and buys from their competitor instead.

Thats how you promote REAL CHANGE not fake manipulated change that our mafia, i mean government gives us.....

.

Damn. This place is lousy with folks that hate/fear the idea of people entering into voluntary trades and transactions....
