So with a full camp how good can we really expect Nate to be?

Does this mean hes going to be exponentially better this time around? Is that how it works? How long can we expect Conor to last this time?

Depends on how much weed is in his system.

Didn't you read Conor's post. Sipping drinks in Cabo is easier than training camp, therefore Nate will be worse with a full camp

Well he has just come out of retirement...

I'm a huge fan of the Diaz brothers, but it's hard to know what to expect from them. Nate looks like a world beater one fight and like he doesn't belong in the cage the next.

Of course, a lot of it has to do with how his opponents choose to engage.

Also Nate had absolutely nothing to lose last time, there is SOMETHING to be said about coming in on late notice, sure a few said he would upset Conor and were right but there must be some expectation on him now and IF he somehow loses this fight, his momentum is gone but another win over Conor will make him even bigger, his own mental approach will be different approaching this fight I feel because I think people will expect a lot more from full camp Nate now.

I expect Nate to look pretty much identical to how he looked last time. The "?" as ever, is on Conor, imo.

So with a full(er) camp,
how quickly can we expect Conor to tap?

2 minutes? ......3?

na he will be linearly better.
maybe 1.5x

If the Nate that showed up against Johnson, Conor is done 2rounds

Thats my point, I think people will be almost disappointed if Diaz doesnt just destroy him this time.

I think the way the whole fight was set up last time was massively in Nates favour. Now I'm not sure Conor can beat Nate tbh BUT Diaz was surely rocking up to that fight with ready made excuses, Cabo, 10 days etc etc most thought Conor was going to destroy him.

Of course Conor is gonna be under pressure but Diaz doesnt have the excuses to lose, there are expectations on him now, will that play a part? I think Diaz has a lot to lose this time around, regarding future fights. A win again really makes Diaz a much bigger star imo and a loss puts him right back were he was before Conor win, only A LOT richer :)

You're misled if you believe for a
second that Nate is ever about excuses.
He just fights. He prefaces almost every
fight with, "I'm going in there to take him
out before I get taken out." Even Nick
once said, "I'm ready to get my ass
whooping." They don't embellish or
fabricate shit. No allusions or facades.
They are real fighters who understand
that losing is not only possible in a fist
fight.. but it is eventually inevitable.

Everyone takes an ass whooping now
and again. If it' isn't from a fist, it's from life.
Might as well have your finger in
the air while it's going down.

Nate isn't losing shit.

How good will conor be with a full training camp preparing for just one person and not ending up fighting someone totally different, with under 2 weeks to go. hmmmmm?

He's a slow starter to begin with.

He was still managing to roll, evade, and deflect alot of conors shots with little to no sparring. So if he is on point then ask yourself what would happen?

But we already know the excuses - non-efficient use of energy, was not ready for a taller, rangier opponent, too many media obligations, changed too many bum lives, etc..

Nate's not a beefy powerhouse so I still wouldn't expect a quick knockout. And presumably Conor will have some sort of different strategy. I think Nate can win again but its not like he needs to do it really quick, just look better with movement on his feet and have better striking defense.

I doubt it. One thing Nate had going for him was being the underdog. No camp, short notice, he had nothing to lose in that fight, and McGregor had everything to lose. This time there's actually alot of pressure on Nate to win.

WTF are you talking about. Neither Diaz bro or their cult like fans ever accept a loss. They are literally the epitome of excuse making fighters.

Nates excuse above for getting his head kicked into the stands is one of the more cringe worthy and embarrassing excuses ever made for a loss in combat sports.

This revisionist history on the Diaz bros, and specifically Nate is hilarious. You don't think people remember the numerous excuses that have been made for almost every single Diaz loss?

LOL at Nate "never being about excuses"

Both Diaz bros build pre fight excuses into their pre fight trash talk.

How good will Diaz be if he actually trains for the fight?

At least he had a training camp, Diaz had NONE.
