Since Ronda got beat up badly by Holly and everyone talked (and is talking) about how her striking is very bad, will she try to make a point and get in a stand up fight against Amanda? For maybe the first round or so? Or will she throw a one-two and bull rush for the clinch?

I think she'll go for the bullrush clinch, but Amanda has got some nasty strikes even going backwards. Amanda is also pretty good at avoiding the clinch. I think Ronda gets TKOd in round 1.

I've seen relevant threads getting deleted. WME must be paying off the crooked pathetic remains of Sherdog. Jeff Sherwood and Greg Savage 4 Life.

Being the competitor she is, she may test the waters for a bit...judging by the fights she gets clocked in her mouth, she is not a huge fan of that, similar to Brock Lesnar.

All it will take is a clinch, or two, for Ronda to implement her bread and butter, and...

I think she wants to be competitive anywhere but its not like she didn't try to get the armbar on Holly Holm either. I think she'll definitely put priority on the grappling.

I hope Nunes can keep the distance. If they clinch I can see Nunes getting tossed and arnbarred.

Not a chance. As soon as she throws a punch she'll get a flashback of the Holm fight.

She'll go for the takedown as soon as the bell rings.

Everyone was talking about her bad striking before every fight man

    Then the holly fight happened

Id say she is less likely to keep it standing after getting obliterated on the feet

If she had planned to keep it standing this fight she would have onboarded a striking coach

Everyone knew the whole time that her striking sucks, but in WMMA you can get away with it vs 99% of the ladies. Holly is kind of special, since she is a world champion (no 1p4p) boxer.

Nunes is supposed to be a black belt in BJJ, so if she is a real black belt, I would think Ronda can't armbar her very easily? She will probably still try for throws as soon as possible to transition straight into an armbar.

Nope. She's going to rush in for a clinch and try to get it to the ground ASAP.

It's the smart play. Amanda has been finished 3 times and all 3 times were on the ground, whether by submission or strikes. Meanwhile she has legit 1-punch KO power in her hands and Ronda is coming off a brutal KO loss.

There's very little doubt about what her strategy is.

Go with the winning formula. Takedown for the armbar.

Ronda has power even if she doesnt have technique. She is in the best shape for a ufc fight she has ever been in as well.I think she will look for the clinch though, maybe even catch amanda with an overhand as she comes in ,but if i had to guess id say armbar finish, then a call out of cyborg post fight calling her a steriod cheat followed by a fuck you to everyone who doubted her.
