Gus was already granted the title shot and only doesn't get one because of an injury, so he doesn't think he should have to earn what is already his. Taking a fighter who has been "Untouchable" by all other contenders and sending him to the Hospital and losing a decision by a hair is worthy of a rematch immediately most times.
