I still think Werdum is the true HW goat. He's had some rough fights but his resume is pretty much untouched. Then you see how many high level grapplers the guy has subbed, it's crazy. He has just gotten sloppy with age and HW is a one punch division.

Depends on how you measure their success. For example Wanderlei is probably the most beloved by fans, but others had better records or made more money. So many of my MMA hero’s came from Pride.

So the post should have been called "Which pride fighter went on to have the most success in the UFC?" Oh well.

Who did the best in the ufc? Probably Werdum. Overeem has had a great career after Pride too though

    He's top 3 imo

I think Fedor is the goat of mma not just heavyweight....not sure if many share that but when i was a kid, Fedor was the boogeyman

One could argue Big Nog was the OG goat...i feel like he's still top 5

    After that it gets murky.

If ya really did follow his career since the very beginnin´, ya would understand that he got exposed many times and was not that hespected back then.

What about Overeem? He was a K-1, Dream, Strikeforce, and ADCC European Champion.
