I'm not sure what the precedent is.

It might be that Khabib walks last because he's ranked at LW while Max isn't. Or it might be that Max walks last because he's a champ and Khabib isn't.

I personally think it's the former.

Its for the firggin LW strap so the LW walks out last...Max is the challenger. The winner gets the LW belt. Khabib is the LW. Max being a champ in the lower weight is irrelevant.
