Now that The jones vs glover fight is scheduled, who do you think gus should fight next?

The only real option that i see is lil nog. Or unless he waits for the winner of chael and rashad. I don't see him fighting davis unless it's for the belt.

As you said, Evans or Nog.

Daniel Cormier should be calling him out momentarily.

Gus vs Cormier damn that'd be sick. Gustafsson would destroy him though. Especially with this new drive. "I've never been this disappointed in my life."

Probably Mousasi if he doesn't move down. If he does, maybe Lil Nog.

If I were the UFC, I would have him fight his originally scheduled opponent in Sweden, Gegard Mousasi. Gegard will try to keep the fight stand but is perfect for a fighter like Gus who moves around very well against a plodding Gegard Mousasi. Plus, Mousasi has cardio issues. Then, if he and Jones wins, the rematch July 4th weekend.

Mousasi, Chael or Rashad. Please no Lil Nog.

I thought that Mousasi has confirmed his cut to 185? not sure though. Would be an interesting fight, I'm still not sold on Mousasi yet, would be nice to see how he does.

This is probably the best option for Gus but I don't think the UFC will make that fight (I could be wrong). I think the UFC sees both DC and Gus as legit fights for Jones and I doubt they would want to knock one of them off by pairing them against each other. The UFC is likely hoping that these two will be the next 2 challenges for Jones provided he beats Glover.

Gus v. Mousasi (although I hope Mousasi goes to 185)

    DC v Evans/Sonnen winner

In one of the similar threads I saw Wand being mentioned. At first I was like lol, then I was like wtf. Now I'm like: The event is in Sweden. Wand is a fucking legend. That would sell out quicker than an ABBA reunion. Wand is, or could at least be marketed as, a legit threat, with his punching power, but at the same time it would probably be a fucking great fight with little actual risk for Gus while waiting for a Jones rematch.

I say Lil Nog is the obvious choice, but Wand is the GREAT choice.

I agree. I saw his fight in Sweden a few months ago or however long ago and it seemed he had that "This isn't that hard of an opponent so why give it much effort?" Kind of attitude.

They are both young and staying at the top few of their division. Keep thinking they wont meet again.

You might be not familiar with Sweden.
The Ericsson Globe Arena will be sold out within hours even if Alexander Gustafsson fights me!
