Bring Frank back!
The big guys has been banging, your perception of time is kinda skewed, 24 months? Cyril & Volkov just fought 6months ago, Sergei fought 4 months ago, Almeida 6 months ago, All the top 10 aside from Aspinall who fought 11 months ago has fought in the past 6 months, Jones fought 7 months ago. It’s not Jones fault the UFC wanted the Miocic vs Jones fight to still go ahead. On the bright side Aspinall can fight someone for the undisputed title now, but if you being excited for the “big guys to bang” when there is almost no exciting fights at HW aside from Aspinall vs Gane. Unless they get Ngannou the HW division is shit, nothing changed.Yes it can. During the last two years it was blocked, now it will move on. Some of us want to see big guys bang, you go watch the smaller ones and keep sprinkling your snide remarks. It is how things have to be. It will sort itself out, as always.
Only if they announced it tomorrow. Like they did with Jones v GaneWould that count as him waiting for Jon to retire before coming back?![]()
Whats Tom Aspinall done over the last 2 years that moved the division forward?Yes it can. During the last two years it was blocked, now it will move on. It doesn’t matter, fights for the belt always feel big. LHW is considered shit as well, I don’t care. I enjoy watching big guys fight, especially when it’s a title fight. We are not all alike my dude. Actually, what I wanted the most was Jon plowing through everyone, but he just wasn’t up for it, for whatever reason. UFC fucked it up, fine, now let’s just move on. It will sort itself out eventually, like always. The big guys has been banging, your perception of time is kinda skewed, 24 months? If you enjoy watching slow , clumsy, unskilled men hug each other for 15 minutesIt doesn’t matter, fights for the belt always feel big. LHW is considered shit as well, I don’t care. We are different, i actually enjoy watching high level skilled fighters fight across the board & those fighters are located at 170 and below, the “small guys”. You can enjoy those big guys fighting that’s your preference, but saying it was “blocked” for “2years” is untrue, those big guys you love were fighting, hell Blaydes and Kuniev were “banging out” early day yesterday. It doesn’t matter, fights for the belt always feel big. thats why jones entered hw, but unfortunately he didnt anticipate that the UFC would try to force him into fighting the only Monster there and he ran away like the duck he is.All these killer, exciting matchups that have been shelved until now! The possibilities are endless!!

You don’t understand because you are most likely small. I am a natural LHW, which means that while I was training and still young I was above 205, but could cut to 205. My main sparring partner was a natural HW, meaning he couldn’t even cut to LHW (not that we ever did). For me, guys that size managing to even last 3 rounds is amazing. Yes, the big divisions are not great because man that big have better opportunities in life, but I’m happy with whatever I get. Getting them to roid freely would be amazing, but we seem to be past that in this day and age.If you enjoy watching slow , clumsy, unskilled men hug each other for 15 minutes
We definitely not all the same
I enjoy watching small guys, but for different reasons. I often enjoy watching wmma fights as well. I just enjoy mma. But small guys, with their skill and all don’t mean as much to me as the big guys. The HW division was blocked because it was going nowhere. Jon got hurt then they pulled Stipe from retirement to get murdered. As a big Stipe fan, I was not happy. Sure, the rest of the division kept duking it out, but it was not going anywhere. Maybe now it will, or at least I hope so.We are different, i actually enjoy watching high level skilled fighters fight across the board & those fighters are located at 170 and below, the “small guys”. I think your frustrations with Jon Jones has caused you to mis remember some things, Jon Jones vs Stipe Miocic was set to headline 295, that’s when Jones got injured, they didn’t bring out Stipe out of “retirement” after Jones got injured. it was already booked. Miocic vs Aspinall was proposed but Miocic denied the fight and opted to wait for Jon Jones because in his words, Miocic cared more about the name Jon Jones, not the title. That’s why Aspinall fought Sergei for the interim, which imo shouldn’t even have been for the title, but the UFC needed a title. Not sure why people here were upset with the Miocic vs Jones booking in the first place, it was legacy type of fight. If Jones X Miocic was booked in PrideFC people would be jumping for joy and excited for it. I thought he was going to retire after that bout anyways.I enjoy watching small guys, but for different reasons. I often enjoy watching wmma fights as well. I just enjoy mma.
