Immediate title shot?
- vs Aldo/Zombie winner? (145)
- vs Bendo/Grant winner? (155)

Or should he go back to the drawing board and fights top 5 guys.
- vs Gilbert (145 or 155?)
- vs Dos Anjos if he beats cowboy (155)
- vs Edgar/Oliveira winner? (145)

The possibilities are endless :icon_twis

Imo he will not fight Aldo unless he gets a tune up fight first...
 
Just the other day we had pics of Pettis and Aldo at the beach.....

Reality set in when he looked into Aldo's eyes and Aldo has been calling him out the last few weeks, and now he (Pettis) bails.
 
He'll probably end up taking a contender fight first. LW and FW are not short on contenders atm.
 
Probably depends on how long he is on the shelf, but I wouldnt mind seeing him get a fight before the Aldo/Zombie winner. I wouldnt be pissed either if he got the Aldo/Zombie winner in his first fight back either. I just hope he isnt on the shelf for too long, but you never know when it comes to the ole knee.
 
Pettis vs Thompson if he's staying at LW.

Pettis vs Swanson/Siver winner if he goes down to FW.

I would love to see Pettis/Swanson. I think Cub will run through Siver, so it just might happen. As long as the Cub that fought Aldo doesnt show up.
 
I'd guess 155, he sounded disappointed the other day that he went down if Bendo was going to be fighting again so soon
 
Pettis vs Thomson would be great at lw. Personally I don't want to see Pettis at fw, he is a lw.
 
He should actually earn a shot by stringing some wins together and having a #1 contender elimination fight.
 
Pettis is getting kind of annoying, everytime he gets close to his shot he blows it
 
Title shot, at LW or FW, depending on if Aldo is still promised his LW title shot after he destroys KZ.
 
Winner of Bendo/Grant if Bendo wins. Winner of Aldo/KZ either outcome methinks.
