Was it because he was not the favorite? I expected him to wait and counter, but dude went hot right off the bat. Nice performance. Wasn't disappointed and yes, i paid for this ppv too

Maybe to stick it in Dana's arse ?

Probably because he is sick of fans like myself calling him boring.

He smacked me in da mouf last night.

Probably the counter bomb he landed while Till was the aggressor

That was the same Tyron, Till just fell into the trap

Till is bigger than him. He had to get inside. Trying to stay on the outside and counter would have been much more dangerous.

He was up against a guy who wasn't that good.

Till said Woodley was aggressive because Tyron deep down was scared of him.

Bit rich coming from the guy who landed one punch in 9 minutes.

Looked more like till was stalking tyrone, just not throwing a lot or landing anything. The punch that dropped till was a counter. Even then, till recovered well, but had no idea how to defend himself on the ground. Till has a future, if he trains some ground defense. He doesnt need to be a sub specialist, just how to defend gnp and get back to his feet. Cro cop was same way early in his career. He spent time learning bjj from werdume and wrestling along the way and he turned out pretty damned good. Tills tdd is solid, as is his chin as most men would have been koed off the punch or the gnp.

This and also cause strategy....everyone thought Tyron would do the same thing hes been doing for a while, which is, waiting for the guys to come to him. Till got surprised as a motherfucker Im sure when he found himself against the cage.

I really dont think Woodley bought the hype at all. He looked so confident in there.

He opened up the toolbox on Till like he was some random in the gym. Legs kicks, straights to the body, he was wrapping him up, smacking him with the right, he even threw a fucking headkick. Woodley knew he had so much more experience. I dont think he felt threatened in the slightest. I think people really do underestimate how smart/skilled/well trained Woodley is.

He didnt have injurys and the darrens not a grappler so theres no risk in being agressive

He had a torn labrum vs Maia & everybody looks boring against WB. Till vs WB was hella boring. So was Rory vs WB.

Not a chance. he doesn't give a fuck in reality. He's making like 4 -6 times the money cause he holds the belt.
He fights for money so he can retire comfortably and take care of his family. He's 36 years old, he doesn't give a fuck if you think he's boring so long as he's cashing checks.

I would guess Woodley's team didn't think Till was good enough at anything to withstand it.

I think he even said that he felt that he had good cardio that night

In the previous few fights he was much more cautious towards his opponents strengths:
  • Wonderboy fight(s) he was up against a more technical striker/point scorer
  • Maia fight he was up against strategic bjj tactician
In this fight he respected Till as a striker... Understanding that Till would try and pressure him for the KO...

So he would have to be more aggressive with his take-down threat and offensive striking/counter-striking in order to throw Till off his game plan...
