so uh... who won the first two rounds in DC vs Jones 2?

prolly done before but who do you think won the first two rounds? just rewatching the fight and I think Jones won the first and DC won the second. what was the consensus when this fight was going on?

I scored it similarly but jones was taking the momentum for sure , dc was having to fight at too high of a pace to keep that up imo. The kicks from jones are too much for dc

I though the same. Jones was throwing more, but he had the reach advantage and he threw mostly kicks to the thigh, but DC landed the hardest shots and was eating all of Jones shots, until the dancing.

Boy had more success in the second fight by far, maybe if they go at it for a third time he'll be able to win the first 4 rounds before getting vanquished (and Jones pops).

I had Cormier winning both.

Cormier is my favourite fighter, but Jon was landing 2 or 3 strikes to every one of DC’s. Cormier couldnt have kept that pace up either, and if he couldnt KO jones whilst fresh he wasnt gonna ko him in the later rounds.

Jones is the best fighter ever. Makes me sad but its true

Same as first fight Jones up on the score cards. Jones is always throwing volume. Side kicks, oblique kicks, jabs, spinning kicks and what not to keep DC off him. DC always finding it hard to close the distance. Only chance DC has to beat Jones is to out cardio him. I wanted to see the fifth round this time badly, to see if DC had improved his cardio, but boom.

Fantastic fight.

Jones won round 1, he threw a lot of oblique kicks and was working Cormier’s body, knees to the body, body kicks, 3 to the body. DC was pressing forward the majority of the fight, he landed some solid clean shots at the end of round 1, but I still gave round 1 to Jones.

Round 2 was a much more successful round for Cormier, I gave the nod to DC he was able to land some nice clean shots, DC also had some nice leg kicks as well, it was a close round though, Jones lead left hook to the body is money.

Great fight, always worthy of a rewatch.

Yea right...all the juice in world wouldnt allow DC to beat Jon Jones.

Jones finished active DC coming off a two year layoff cold turkey.

First fight was dick pills and even if u believe JJ intentionally took steriods...the said amount taken was so miniscule.

Coming off a two year layoff against an active fighter is far more of a handicap if anything. And he still slept DC.

I think DC's confidence during the second round skews things a little for some. I had it one to one going into the 3rd. Second round was close. Could see that for either.
