Sorry but he moved down and got wrecked. His 135 belt means nothing now. There is no way he can wear the 135 strap with pride.

If he moved up I would give him props .. But he moved down faced a smaller guy..... Who just won the 125 strap and got koed.

Depends on his next fight at 135. He’s no paper champ but it’s been a step back for sure for him.

Shit happens bud. TJ had a poor start. It doesn't mean he's not a great fighter.

man MMA fans can be dicks sometimes.

The man took a chance and went for a shot at being a double champ. How are we going to knock the man for taking a risk most mma champions wont take.

plus it remains to be seen if he just had no business at 125.

Rumble Johnson was finished by rich Clemnti

Disagree. There is no shame to loosing to a fighter as good as Cejudo.

    That's not a win. It doesn't count.

How in the fuck his 135 belt is paper after losing at 125? There is no logic behind that dumb thought.God some TJ haters are some insufferable retards.

Well i definitely want to see the rematch at 135. TJ's weight cut was so extreme.

    Wrong.

Cody beat the real champ, Dominick Cruz.
    TJ then beat Cody, twice.

TJ is not a paper champ, he's still the legit 135 champ.

A paper champ is somebody like esparza that won a shitty tuf competition to get her belt or somebody that got lucky like Serra and Alvarez. TJ defended multiple times, Cejudo rematch is likely next. Hopefully it's at 135 this time.

TJ never was the champion, because Renan Barao never fought Cruz. Checkmate

TJ shouldn't fight at 125 anymore. He tried it and it didn't work, now pretend it never happened and fight at 135 from now on.

Rumble was just an example of at someone point a weight cut has diminishing returns. We dont know yet if that happened to TJ or not. TJ looked worse at the weigh ins than rumble ever did to me. And rumble looked fucking bad.

I know rumble cut way more weight but hes naturaully bigger thus giving him more cuttable weight. TJ was lean as fuck at 135.

    Are people really this ignorant...

I guess Matt Hughes belts don't mean shit either then because BJ Penn beat him. .

Which would mean GSPs belts don't mean shit..

Which means Tyrones belt doesn't mean shit.. all because bj Penn the smaller guy beat Hughes...

See how dumb your thinking is...

It can happen. Lower weight classes are often more technical.

    Jones beat DC
    Nunes beat Cyborg
Woodley most likely beats B. Knuckles

He moved down.... To face someone smaller than him for the belt....

It is not heroic, if he moved up it would be a different story.
