So Thiago Silva is welcomed back, but Daley and Jason High aren't.

Been offline a few days and I imagine this thread has been done to death, just thought I'd chime in to spotlight Dana's hypocrisy.

i want daley back badly. him vs condit or brown = me very happy

How do they compare? Different fighters, different stories

Daley will be back. Just give it time.

Not sure how you can compare a pos like daley that sucker punches other "ufc" fighters to pulling a gun on "non ufc fighters" its like apples to oranges. Neither should be in the ufc in my opinion.

Daley should go to Bellator. No Askren to wrestle him anymore.

Comparing these incidents in any way is simply absurd.

Thiago Silva is still top fighter.
Daley and High aren't.

Dana White now wants to build an octagon in War Machine's prison.

:D

Even if the incidents were comparable, WW and LW are stacked. LHW isn't. It's that simple.

Different weight classes. The UFC doesn't need many more WWs or LWs. They desperately need LHWs. I imagine a HW could get away with some shady sh*t and still keep his job with Zuffa.

What's absurd about comparing 3 people who Dana said would never fight in the UFC again?

The guy who was allowed back *allegedly* committed the worst crime. And I say *allegedly* because authorities couldn't press charges because witnesses either refused to testify or left the country.

What's not *alleged* (i.e. is fact) is that the same guy has two prior SAC suspensions.

I agree with you. A legitimate league has consistent policy for all athletes. It is very short sighted of the UFC to allow Silva back in since he is the bigger name and will theoretically impact the bottom line positively. Meanwhile, it doesn't do squat for legitimizing the UFC or MMA in the long term.

Silva cleared of all charges. Spin it however u want it. Silva was cleared of all charges.

Silva got cleared of his charges where Daley clear as day suckerpunched koscheck. Not sure about Jason's situation.

Thiago Silva was cut because he was arrested.

The charges were dropped, by law no crime has been committed, hence he gets his job back.

Daley/High on the other hand, are completely different.

Also, Heather Jo on TUF hit Felice Herrig after the bell, exactly what Daley did. Yet she's been welcomed in.
