Hendo's the one who got injured. Jones was terrified (like completely scared shitless) of Chael Sonnen though.Just skipping from 232 to 234.
How odd. Did this happen for like 151 because Jon was scared of Hendo or something.
Yeah there was no 151. Not because Jon was scared of Hendo though. Cause Hendo pulled out and Jones was advised not to take a fight with Cheal (who knew in advance Hendo was hurt and was training for the fight) and then refused to let Dana throw him under the bus and bully him into the fighting. Actually the first think Jones did that made me like him a bit but still despite the cancellation being entirely the fault of the UFC for making a card that couldn't stand on it's own without the main event people still some how act like Jon personally cancelled the card and it was all his fault, lol.Just skipping from 232 to 234.

Yeah, it showed when he fought a much more dangerous Vitor a couple weeks later and then easily destroyed Cheal in his next fight.Hendo's the one who got injured. Jones was terrified (like completely scared shitless) of Chael Sonnen though.
Yeah we remember he refused Chael but was okay taking Vitor weeks later. Jones fear was validated when even with all the preparation he needed, he still left the Chael fight barely able to walk, limping away with his title.Yeah, it showed when he fought a much more dangerous Vitor a couple weeks later and then easily destroyed Cheal in his next fight.
Jackson advised him not to take the fight since he had everything to lose and nothing to gain and then Dana immediately started trying to throw Jones under the bus and blame the whole thing on him before he had even officially declined and they had known about Hendo's injury for a while before announcing it and did nothing about it.
Jones stood his ground and refused to be bullied which was to that point the only thing he had ever done that made me respect hm.
Lol, yeah, almost ripping his own toe off ground and pounding Chael until he quit was definitely a big feather in Chaels cap.Yeah we remember he refused Chael but was okay taking Vitor weeks later.
