I'll be the first to say I'm a huge fan of the Anderson/Hall fight but tell me how this makes sense? Robert Whittaker just beats Uriah pretty clearly and he gets Rafael Natal and Uriah gets Anderson? I understand Anderson/Hall is a wicked matchup and I'm super excited for it but it honestly is kind of bogus the way this worked out

Thoughts?

The sport kind of loses credibility when it doesn't have a ranking system. They are focusing on fights that make money right now. Plain and simple. Effective to a point but can that sustain?

I'm just thinking of it as a punishment for Natal, rather than shitastic matchmaking. You give a slow, plodding guy one of the fastest, most powerful strikers in the division right now?

Whittaker is going to cash that check.

Whittaker is on his way to a title shot. Anderson is on his way to retirement. Also, Natal is on a win streak of his own.

Because Uriah is a bigger name than Whitaker (though admittedly not big). They aren't going to let Robert fucking Whitaker make his name off Anderson Silva, either.

The thing is the UFC itself has a rankings system.

It just happens to be fucking useless, it's not the system it's the people in charge.

Zuffa needs to go and yes there is something very wrong with this matchmaking.

Holy shit. No wonder fightpass is so fucked up. Look at the decisions the people in charge make on a daily basis.

Well Whittaker/Natal was already set before Anderson/Bisping even happened. I know I know, using your brain and logic is really hard.

When you compare the matchups straight up, yeah it looks bad, but it's to do with the schedule. Whittaker/Natal was set before Silva/Bisping even happened. Edit: like @Bboy said

Bottom line is Whittaker should've gotten a bigger fight than Natal, and Hall honestly shouldn't be fighting Anderson Silva

.......and Gegard just beat the face off Leites who, arguably, beat Bisping.Mousasi draws Brunson while Bisping is waiting a title shot..hard to understand these matchups
