So... Only Rory Mc had the balls to stand with Conor?

Why bother with the outrage over the dogshit pay checks and Reebok paying peanuts on behalf of these fighters when they're too timid to take a stance and say enough's enough? They have cried man-tears since Conor showed up, with sorrowful tales of Dana coddling him and downplaying his success as just a side effect of his non-stop self promotion. Then, when he wants to do what they wished he'd do all along, shut up and just fight, they say oh no you don't.

They blew it. Conor left the door open for the beginnings perhaps of a revolution, to challenge the overlords. They fell silent, except those with their hands out begging to take his place for 10% of his pay. And we are now to feel sorry for them and curse Reebok? Don't be foolish and lose any sleep over their work conditions, they had their chance and failed to take it. Rory is the only one to come out of this looking like a warrior.

The lesser known fighters brown nosing the suits is a little queasy to watch, but it's understandable.

I agree, although I think there were a few other fighters that stood by him after his second statement.

The majority poked fun, or did not engage in it, therefore I will not feel sympathy in the future when these fights cry about pay.

Well for one, Conor is doing this for himself, and himself only. Why should the other fighters feel obligated to stand by him? He shits on them constantly

It's gonna take many more like Conor to make things change. I don't see it happening anytime soon

Conor came back gravelling faster than he'd could tap.

Talk shit get hit (in the wallet)
Now el Tapo can be in Iceland for ufc 200. Everyone wins, except for el Tapo

Because more power to him could set a precedent for more power to the fighters.

This is more than just stupid hype trash talk.

UFC and Diaz loses a lot of money too. No one really wins in this.

Didn't he talk crap on the other fighters, calling them monkeys?

He's doing this for himself and only himself. Stop trying to church things up.

He is the highest paid UFC fighter and he's being a diva, maybe they think he should check himself because a few years ago he was on welfare. And like cynic said Conor is doing this for himself he couldn't care less about other fighters.

Rory isn't the smartest so I'm not surprised he's standing up for Conor

He doesn't understand anything

I'm sure Mendes and Aldo think so too.

Read Ben Askren's comments on it, he went even further than Rory. Why, because like Rory, he isn't under the UFC's thumb and can give his honest opinion without fear of any ufc backlash.

Rory's got a bad contract and needs a loan

My ass to all of that Conor don't give two sh!ts about the other fighters, the same guy who believed he had a partnership with Dana & Lorenzo. The same guy who proclaimed that he don't stay at the fighters hotel he stays in the same hotel Dana & Lorenzo stay. 1st he was the man holding out against the mighty machine the same machine he enjoyed spooning with.
Now he's trying to tweet himself back into the big mighty payday, what happened to holding out for what you believe is right? Now he got surplus time to train and diet for either Edger or Aldo who now know Conor is now a mentally broken fighter.
